Michelle and David Rogers, Owners

We began teaching in 1999, renting space from the Boys & Girls Club in the evenings. We were awarded the 2010 Best of Business Award in the Maritial Arts Category by the Small Business Commerce Association. We offer a Lil'Dragon class for ages 3-7, programs at Centennial park in Paso Robles and Colony Park in Atascadero, and also for the local YMCA.

Since 1990, we have been training in Traditional Okinawan Karate and Kobudo (David is currently a 6th degree black belt in Kobudo, while Michelle is a 4th degree in karate and a 2nd degree in Kobudo). We also have studios (dojos) in Oregon, Colorado and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Our personal goals are to have a positive effect on the community and people's lives through the instruction of Traditional Okinawan Karate.

Our role model is Shugoro Nakazato Sensei who is 90 years young and still teaches two classes a day; and our immediate instructor, Kyoshi Nabil Noujaim who introduced us to Okinawan Karate.

Away from work, we like to hike, work in the yard, and just do things together.

Our bank of choice is Heritage Oaks Bank because they provide excellence in service. Even though we are one of their smaller clients, we are treated as though we are their best customer. We have been with Heritage Oaks Bank since 1999.
