(Santa Maria,CA) - Clarence Cabreros has joined Heritage Oaks Bank as a Senior Vice President and the Santa Maria Commercial Lending Group Manager. Clarence is responsible for coordinating and supervising all commercial lending activities in the Santa Maria area. He will also be responsible for growing and managing a loan portfolio and will oversee all business unit functions relative to profitability, minimizing credit risk, and improving efficiency in line with the bank's strategic objectives. Clarence will be headquartered at our South Broadway office in Santa Maria.

Clarence received his business degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate. He graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School in 2008. Clarence has spent over 17 years in banking with Mid-State Bank and Rabobank. While at Mid-State Bank he held numerous positions throughout the bank's lending group and brings extraordinary experience in all aspects of lending. His most recent position was Senior Vice President - Commercial Banking and Commercial Real Estate Manager where he oversaw a portfolio of approximately $400.0 million.

Currently, Clarence is a member of Kiwanis, on the Board of the Home Builders Association of the Central Coast, Eagle Athletic Foundation, St. Patrick’s School Finance Committee, and St. Patrick’s Church Parishioner. Clarence treasures family life with his wife, daughter, and extended family. He plays golf and enjoys watching high school and professional sports. Clarence has lived on the Central Coast for 37 years.
