(Santa Maria, CA) – The Halsell name is a familiar one in Santa Maria. Over the years, they have helped build a thriving community by founding a youth scholarship program and most recently, a residential senior care facility. On January 22, 2009 Heritage Oaks Bank presented a check and donation for $ 1,000 to Halsell Builders, Inc. to provide assistance to their charitable building project.
“The team at Halsell Builders would like to send out a great big ‘thank you’ for your generous donation of $1,000 to our charitable building project. Your assistance has provided the needed funding to paint the entire inside and outside of a home. We have been able to get labor donated and a portion of the materials discounted from local vendors, but the funding you provided has closed the gap and allowed us to paint with no further expense. You have directly impacted the lives of a family in need at a crucial time in their life. Rest assured your time will be thought of kindly for years to come because of your willingness to participate in this project,” says Joseph Halsell, Halsell President, Halsell Builders, Inc.
“Our community outreach is to mirror the wants and needs of the communities we serve," says Mitch Massey Senior Vice President Marketing, Heritage Oaks Bank. "The Halsell Family defines community involvement in the Santa Maria Valley. Heritage Oaks Bank is pleased to have played a role to help bring a smile to a family in need," adds Massey.
