When Heritage Oaks Bank established the Heritage Oaks Bank Family Fun Day & Fun Run twelve years ago, we did so with the attitude that it should be a community event where every member of the family could participate. Showcasing eight different running /walking events has helped make this happen.

  • Central Coast Classic 10K Championship - This is a new event! Check out the Fun Run website for all of the details.
  • Beat KK in the 5K - Anyone who beats Kennedy Club Fitness owner, Kevin Kennedy, goes into a drawing for a free one-year membership
  • 100-yard Mascot Race - Every mascot who enters has a chance to win $250 in a random drawing
  • 1-Mile Run - an event for all ages!
  • Half Mile Kids Run - one lap around the City Park for kids ages 5-12. Parents can jump in and run with kids
  • 75-yard Kids Dash - a short sprint for kids up to age 5. Parent can join in too
  • Diaper Dandy Dash for Cash - a 10-yard crawal for those who haven't taken their first steps yet. Any infant who participants is eligible to win a $300 grand prize - winner's parents must collect the prize of course!
  • 2-Mile Walk -  a walk along Paso Robles' beautiful and historic Vine Street

Fun Run

Every participants receives a pancake breakfast, water from Culligan, Pizza from Marv's, a collectible t-shirt from Yesterday's Sportswear and a commemorative race medal.

KIDS DAY IN THE PARK
Brings your kids to the park from 10-1pm to enjoy Kids Day in the Park. Activities include the popular Children's Author's Festival, giant inflatables, Elk's kids train and Freckles the Clown.

A FUN FUNDRAISER
Heritage Oaks Bank is most proud of the money the Fun Run has raised for local non-profit organizations. Each year 100 percent of all race entry proceeds go to four selected non-profits. Event participants are able to choose where they want their entry fee to be donated. This year's non-profit recipients are the Paso Robles Public Library, The Boys and Girls Club of Noth San Luis Obispo County, CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Area Agency on Aging.
